Established in 2015, The Barr Hill Players aims to build mindfulness, confidence and connection for emerging actors - onstage and off. Summer Fellows undertake a curated week of ensemble-based training in Meisner Technique, Viewpoints, martial arts, and wilderness skills in a beautiful open-air studio in the mountains of Vermont. The 2025 fellowship (dates to be announced soon!) will culminate in an ensemble-driven workshop and staged reading of a new play in New York City. (Our 2024 reading was held at La MaMa Galleria.) Our alumni have gone on to MFA programs at NYU Tisch, Columbia, Boston Conservatory and more. Recent alumni acting credits include Harvard ART’s 'Wild' and Broadway’s 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.' Join us to break your artistic blocks and join a lifelong ensemble.
